Wayne Gretzky stated, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” I would have to agree with him. I woke up this morning thinking what motivates people to make a change? What stops them from making a change? When you have good intentions on becoming a healthier you, you have to start somewhere. I understand that may not always be easy, and that's okay. I do know that if you don’t give it a shot, you will always miss. If you don’t step forward, then you will always be in the same place. Whether you are starting a new eating plan, exercise program, chiropractic care, detox program, or maybe it’s a mind-set thing such as asking a girl/guy you like out, starting a new business venture, etc. The key is starting.  Ninety percent of success is just showing up, so show up! Nike said it best with their famous tag line "just do it." So, vow to make no more excuses! Figure out what holds you back from achieving the life and health of your dreams and get uncomfortable and tackle it head on! We all have our highs and lows. Your brain is wired to keep you in your comfort zone and whenever you are outside of that comfort zone your subconscious mind will do everything it can to sabotage your success.

If you need help with your nutrition, exercise, or chiropractic plan ask! If you don't ask the answer will always be no. If you don't start you won't finish. We are here to serve you! Take control today and get on track! I know YOU can do it! If you keep postponing a decision, your indecision becomes your only decision. Make a decision to take charge of your life and health today! Dream Big! Happy Motivational Monday!

In Health,

Dr. Kristin Gaines Porlier
