Many commonly used household cleaners contain toxic chemicals that are harmful to your body. It is easy to make your own cleaning products at home that don’t contain toxins. Here are a few of my favorite healthy, non-toxic cleaning recipes:

Air Freshener Spray

You can have fun with this one. Use your favorite oils to get the scent you desire.

2 ½ cups water

10 drops of lavender oil

10 drops of lemon oil

5 drops of cinnamon oil

Mix together in a spray bottle and you have a healthy homemade air freshener!

Multi-Purpose Cleaner

¼ Cup White Vinegar

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 cups of hot water

10 drops of tea tree oil

5 drops of lemon oil

Woodwork Polish

¼ cup of Olive Oil

8 drops of Orange or Lemon Oil which ever scent you desire!

Use a cotton cloth to gently polish using a small amount of the mixture

Bathroom Cleaner

2 ½ Cups of water

¼ Cup of Vinegar

10 drops of tea tree oil

10 drops of Oregano Oil

8 drops of lemon oil

Lime Deposits

½ Cup of white Vinegar

2 Cups of hot water

Squeeze Lemon Juice on the Lime and let it set for 2-3 minutes

Rinse with the White Vinegar/water mix and rinse again with a damp cloth

Grocery List For making your Household Cleaners:
